2008:
James returned for his senior year as starting quarterback and captain of the Lebanon High School football team. Prior to the start of the season, James trained all summer and attended the following Camps: Eastern Michigan Sr. Camp, Bowling Green Sr. Camp, Temple Univ. Sr. Camp, Youngstown State Univ. Sr. Camp, Univ. of Rhode Island Sr. Camp, Akron Univ. Sr. Camp, Univ. of Richmond Sr. Camp, Tony Franklin's Elite Team FB Camp, West Chester Univ. Team Camp, Lauren's First & Goal FB Camp.
James led Lebanon to the schools first ever playoff appearance, completing 219 of 327 passes for 2,963 yards and 31 touchdowns, and also rushed 128 times for 770 yards and 9 touchdowns. James broke the school and county records for pass completions, attempts, yards and touchdown passes.
2007:
James entered his junior year as starting quarterback and captain of the Lebanon High School football team. Prior to the start of the season, James trained all summer and attended five passing camps and two team camps, including: Darin Slack QB Academy, Al Golden Football Camp, East Coast Elite QB Camp, East Coast Elite QB Winter Technique School, Lauren’s First & Goal Football Camp, Tony Franklin’s Elite Team Football Camp and West Chester University Team Camp.
James completed 176 of 287 passes for 2,077 yards and 17 touchdowns, and also rushed 137 times for 390 yards and 6 touchdowns. Three separate times during the year James was selected as Offensive Player of the Week in the Lancaster-Lebanon league. James also earned All-County 1st Team and All-League 2nd Team QB honors.
2006:
James began his sophomore year as starting quarterback. James fell to an unfortunate injury when he broke his collar bone in the second game, which sidelined him for the remainder of the season. In the two games he appeared in he completed 14 of 26 passes for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns.
2005:
James took over as starting quarterback for Lebanon during the second game of his freshman year, and became the first freshman starting quarterback in school history. James led a wing-T offense during his freshman campaign, completing 63 of 114 passes for 780 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Other:
James has been playing quarterback in organized play since he was seven years old. In his last year of Midget Football James won the 2003 Charles W. Klahr Memorial Award for displaying outstanding sportsmanship and dedication. James’s coaches and the media have described him as “a gutsy warrior”, “the heart of the team” and “a true leader”.
James is also a starter on the Lebanon High School basketball team. James played in every game of his sophomore season and scored in 24 of 26 games; seven of which in double figures. He earned the “Tall Cedar Stick” award twice for his performance.
James’s post-high school goal is to attend a college/university and play football, while studying criminal justice.

Born July 6, 1990...son of Thomas & Sherry Capello...has two brothers and one sister. James attends St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
